Clarisonic Mia= LOVE

I've always wanted a Clarisonic.
When I was just learning about skin care my mom always raved about how fresh her skin looked when she exfoliated it.
So I used a toothbrush to do the job.

Back in September 2011 my boyfriend purchased the Clarisonic Mia for me.
I was super happy because I always talked about how I really wanted one but it was way out of my price range. The Clarisonic is the best thing out there.
I can't get enough of it.
When I first got it I wanted to test and see how much makeup I was leaving on my face after cleansing and boy was I grossed out!!
It just gets every ounce of product off. It also just takes off all the dead skin cells so that afterwards your skin is so soft!
It also lighted up some of my acne scars which is a huge plus.
I really do recommend the Clarisonic Mia for everyone.
It' small, waterproof, convenient, and absolutely genius.

Maybelline chic naturals 35T Almond Satin Palette

So I was on the hunt for colors similar to the Urban Decay Naked Palette which was the reason why I purchased this palette. All I have to say is that this was such a waste of money. I literally had to scrub the shadows onto my skin. It just doesn't show up at all. They are not pigmented. Thumbs down!

When I'm broke I just.....

When I don't feel like spending loads on makeup remover I use something that I think everyone has in their kitchen. I used olive oil! Ahhh yes this stuff works miracles and does not costs tons of $$!! It also moisturizes the delicate eye area as well. Some people may think that it's strange to be using an oil in skin and that it will clog pours...but it doesn't! Olive oil is very good for the skin! So this is what i do I either slather it on all over the face or eyes just by pouring it into my hand and rubbing it on. Or sometimes I soak it in a cotton pad and rub it on. After rubbing it a bit I wash it off with water first and then with my facial cleanser. It takes all the makeup off. No sign signs of makeup left!

One Blazer--3 looks

Hello Everyone!!!My name is Katherine and welcome to my first blog post!
Today I would love to cover the topic of a perfect spring menswear blazer...even though where I live it doesn't look or feel like spring is coming anytime soon! This blazer really reminds me of the one from Stella McCartney...its just hundreds of $$$ less!
This is my new spring pink blazer. You can purchase this at your H&M store. I believe it was around $40. I felt that this color pink looked best paired up with gray...so all my outfits will have gray in them.
Outfit Number 1----really simple just wear the blazer with some jeans and a gray top. I paired this with nude pumps because I like having some height. As for accessories i am just wear my rose gold necklace, ring, and white/rose gold watch. You can wear this with any accessories that you feel like.

Outfit Number 2---Same Accessories, same gray top, same nude pumps...but this time I am wearing some light gray cropped jeans...this is for the warmer spring days when you are going out with some friends or running errands..if you don't have any gray cropped jeans then you can switch this up with some white jeans or white capris and a white t-shirt.
This outfit is a bit more formal. I am wearing some black opaque tights and black heels. The dress is gray and has a zipper going down the front. (It's from Forever21) I am wearing the same accessories in addition to a gold pearl long necklace that I just wrapped around twice.  If you don't own a gray dress I suggest wearing a gray skirt and top instead.  Or if you are not really into the gray you can wear a white over sized blouse with this and some leggings and pumps.

These are just my 3 basic outfits....there are plenty more you can do with this kind of Blazer
